Located in the heart of beautiful Keswick Village, directly across from the clock tower and Penny’s Flowers, Glenside Pizza has evolved into a neighborhood landmark in the Abington community. We’re proud to have developed partnerships with local churches, schools and small businesses, providing quality meals to residents and customers in the Glenside and surrounding areas.
Our Ingredients
Since inception, Glenside Pizza has made a concerted effort to use better ingredients than our competition. Just selling something because it’s cheap or easy to work with isn’t our forte. Every food item we sell has been taste tasted, quality tested and has proven the test of time for over 20 years. If something doesn’t sell, we remove it. If something doesn’t make our customers happy, we change it. We are nothing without our customers.
Our New Pizza Dough Flour
We’re pleased to announce, Glenside Pizza has recently made the change to an Unbleached and Unbromated flour for our pizza dough. This process has been tested for over a month in order to best replicate our previous dough.
Why make the change?
Potassium Bromate is a known potential carcinogen which has been banned in many countries across the world including China, India, Brazil, Argentina, Canada the UK and the entire European Union. We don’t want to sell that anymore.
Our new flour eliminates the Potassium Bromate while minimizing any quality issues. We hope to continue thriving in this beautiful neighborhood for years to come and appreciate your constant support.
