Glenside Pizza has made the change to an Unbleached and Unbromated flour for our pizza dough. This process has been tested for over a month in order to best replicate our previous dough. Why make the change?
Potassium Bromate is a known potential carcinogen which has been banned in many countries across the world including China, India, Brazil, Argentina, Canada the UK and the entire European Union. We don’t want to sell that anymore.
Our new flour eliminates the Potassium Bromate while minimizing any quality issues. We hope to continue thriving in this beautiful neighborhood for years to come and appreciate your constant support.
